Lambrusco (named for both the region and grape) is a fizzy typically red wine that is best consumed young. Lambrusco is frothy, acidic and can be dry or slightly sweet and pairs well with sausage or pasta. Unlike Champagne or Spumante, Lambrusco gets carbonated in pressurized tanks.
A red and fine froth, a persistent perlage. Its color is an intense ruby red, the perfume is of red fruits and the taste is savory, full and velvety, with a slight tannic aftertaste.
